"Why Move Here?"

Aside from being a quiet village, we have a lot to offer anyone or any business wishing to call Borden their home.

Location, first and foremost, is one real good reason. Being on the Trans-Canada Yellowhead Highway you are provided with a direct link to other communities as well, North Battleford and Lloydminster to the Northwest and Saskatoon to the Southeast.

Probably the most attractive piece to moving to Borden would be the cost. With lots located in the village starting at $6500 this is a good start. We have entered into a co-operative agreement with Lauri Rose-Walner of Century21 Real Estate and McDiarmid Homes RTM for the sale of lots and new homes in Borden. Gas prices at Borden and our neighbouring towns are usually $0.02 - $0.05 a litre cheaper than in the city.

The community is self-contained for those who don’t want to drive to the city. We have a Co-op grocery store and hardware store, insurance office, Credit Union financial centre, Post office, service station, restaurant, bar, and various home-based businesses. And of course a school with classes from kindergarten to grade 12.

If you still need more reasons, browse through the rest of our site. And please send us any questions or comments you may have.
